Background
MCP-1, also known as CCL2, is a chemokine belonging to the C-C chemokine family. It plays a crucial role in various physiological processes such as inflammation, immune regulation, and cell migration. MCP-1/CCL2 primarily functions by binding to the C-C chemokine receptor CCR2, thereby guiding monocytes and other inflammatory cells to migrate to sites of inflammation, contributing to the inflammatory response and immune regulation. Overexpression of MCP-1/CCL2 is closely associated with the pathogenesis and progression of various diseases, including inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and metabolic disorders. As a result, MCP-1/CCL2 has emerged as a potential therapeutic target, and researchers are exploring therapeutic strategies targeting MCP-1/CCL2 in the hope of impacting the treatment of related diseases.

Linearity
The concentrations of MCP-1were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
#1 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: Human Serum was 2fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 218 pg/mL in Human Serum.
#2 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: Human Plasma was 1.3fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 103 pg/mL in Human Plasma.
Linearity
The concentrations of MCP-1 were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
The sample is undiluted samples are as follows: human PBMC cells stimulated with 10ug/ml PHA for 1days (2%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 8690 pg/mL in stimulated human PBMC supernatant.
Linearity
The sample is undiluted samples are as follows: human PBMC cells culture for 1days (4%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 2930 pg/mL in unstimulated human PBMC supernatant.
To assess the linearity of the assay, two samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human MCP-1 in various matrices and diluted with the appropriate Calibrator Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
