Background
CCL11, commonly known as eotaxin-1, is a small chemokine protein that plays a critical role in the immune system. Its primary function is to recruit eosinophils, a specific type of white blood cell, to sites of inflammation by binding to the CCR3 receptor on their surface. This action makes CCL11 a key player in allergic responses and the pathogenesis of diseases like asthma. Beyond its role in immunity, recent research has revealed a surprising connection to the aging process, as elevated levels of CCL11 have been linked to impaired neurogenesis and cognitive decline. Produced by various cells including endothelial cells and fibroblasts, it is also implicated in other chronic inflammatory conditions and certain cancers. Consequently, therapeutic strategies aimed at blocking CCL11 signaling are being actively investigated for treating a range of disorders from allergies to age-related cognitive deficits.

Linearity
The concentrations of Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
Sample is undiluted samples are as follows: mouse serum was undilution (100%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 773.61 pg/mL in stimulated mouse serum.
Linearity
The concentrations of Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
Sample is undiluted samples are as follows: mouse plasma was undilution (100%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 532.54 pg/mL in stimulated mouse plasma.
To assess the linearity of the assay, two samples were spiked with high concentrations of Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin in various matrices and diluted with the appropriate Calibrator Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
