Background
Oligodendrocyte lineage transcription factor 2 (OLIG2) is a member of a family of basic helix–loop–helix (bHLH) transcription factors. OLIG2 is expressed only in the central nervous system (CNS) and plays an important role in the development of brain cancers. Tissue specificity: Expressed in the brain, in oligodendrocytes. Strongly expressed in oligodendrogliomas, while expression is weak to moderate in astrocytomas. Expression in glioblastomas highly variable.

Immunofluorescence

Goat polyclonal Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) was used as secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution. Counterstained with DAPI (Blue).
