Background
TOX protein is a transcription factor that plays a crucial role in the immune system. It is involved in the regulation of T cell differentiation and function, particularly in the development and maintenance of regulatory T cells (Tregs) which are essential for maintaining immune tolerance and preventing autoimmunity. Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
