OX40L Recombinant Rabbit mAb (S-2597-17)

OX40L (also called CD252 or TNFSF4) is a type-II transmembrane glycoprotein of the TNF superfamily that is chiefly expressed on antigen-presenting cells such as dendritic cells, B cells and macrophages; when it engages its receptor OX40 (CD134) on recently activated CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells it delivers a potent co-stimulatory signal that triggers TRAF-dependent cascades (PI3K–Akt, NF-κB1), thereby amplifying T-cell proliferation, survival, cytokine secretion and memory formation, a mechanism exploited experimentally by OX40L agonists to boost anti-tumor immunity and targeted therapeutically by blocking agents to dampen harmful inflammation in autoimmunity and allergic diseases.
