Background
IKKβ, also known as IκB kinase β or IKK2, is a key regulatory kinase responsible for the activation of NF-κB through phosphorylation at specific serine residues. It is a crucial component of the IKK complex, which includes IKKα, IKKβ, and the regulatory subunit IKKγ (NEMO).
