Background
Huntingtin (HTT) is a large soluble protein composed of approximately 3144 amino acids, with a molecular weight of around 348 kDa. It is highly expressed in the central nervous system, particularly in neurons of the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. Huntingtin plays crucial roles in various cellular processes, including clathrin-mediated endocytosis, axonal transport, and synaptic signal transduction. It also helps protect neurons from apoptosis.

Immunocytochemistry
ICC shows positive staining in SH-SY5Y cells. Anti- Huntingtin antibody was used at 1/2000 dilution (Green) and incubated overnight at 4°C. Goat polyclonal Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) was used as secondary antibody at 1/1000 dilution. The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
