Background

HAT1 (Histone Acetyltransferase 1) is an evolutionarily conserved type-B histone acetyltransferase that catalyzes the acetylation of newly synthesized histone H4 on lysines 5 and 12, and to a lesser extent H3, a modification critical for chromatin assembly and epigenetic regulation; residing mainly in the cytoplasm and nucleus, it forms a multisubunit complex with histone chaperones such as RbAp46 and NASP to escort acetylated histones to replication forks, is implicated in DNA repair, transcriptional silencing, and cell-cycle progression, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancers, viral latency, and neurodegeneration.

The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).

The cells were fixed with 100% ice-cold methanol and permeabilized with 0.1% PBS-Triton X-100. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue). Counterstain with tubulin (Red).
