Background
Felis catus FCGR1A, also known as feline CD64, is a high-affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc receptor I. Primarily expressed on the surface of macrophages and monocytes, it plays a critical role in the innate immune response by binding to IgG antibodies and facilitating phagocytosis of opsonized pathogens, immune complex clearance, and the activation of antimicrobial mechanisms.
