Background
Mouse IgG1 is a monomeric immunoglobulin gamma subclass that constitutes a significant proportion of serum antibodies. It is particularly prominent in responses to protein antigens and is often associated with Th2-type T-cell responses. A key functional characteristic of IgG1 is its relatively low affinity for activating Fc gamma receptors (FcγRs) on immune cells like macrophages and neutrophils. Consequently, it is generally poor at triggering effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). However, it has a high affinity for the inhibitory FcγRIIB receptor, which can dampen immune activation. IgG1 is therefore often considered an antibody isotype that primarily functions to neutralize pathogens and toxins without vigorously activating inflammatory pathways.

Linearity
The concentrations of mouse IgG1 were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
#1 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: CD-1 mouse serum was 8000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 153.06 ug/mL in CD-1 mouse serum. #2 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: BABL/C mouse serum was 8000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 83.63 ug/mL in BABL/C mouse serum. #3 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: C57BL/C mouse serum was 8000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 168.26 ug/mL in C57BL/C mouse serum.
Linearity
The concentrations of mouse IgG1 were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
#1 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: C57BL/C mouse plasma (EDTA) was 4000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 161.65 ug/mL in C57BL/C mouse plasma (EDTA).
#5 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: C57BL/C mouse plasma (Sodium citrate) was 4000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 117.52 ug/mL in C57BL/C mouse plasma (Sodium citrate).
