Background
ASGPR1 is a subunit of the asialoglycoprotein receptor. This receptor is a transmembrane protein that plays a critical role in serum glycoprotein homeostasis by mediating the endocytosis and lysosomal degradation of glycoproteins with exposed terminal galactose or N-acetylgalactosamine residues. The asialoglycoprotein receptor may facilitate hepatic infection by multiple viruses including hepatitis B, and is also a target for liver-specific drug delivery.

Western Blot
IP
ASGPR1 Rabbit mAb at 1/50 dilution (1 µg) immunoprecipitating ASGPR1 in 0.4 mg HepG2 whole cell lysate.
Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ASGPR1 Rabbit mAb at 1/1000 dilution.
Secondary antibody (HRP) for IP was used at 1/400 dilution.
