Background
Olfm4 (olfactomedin-4) is a secreted glycoprotein highly expressed in intestinal stem cells, bone marrow neutrophils and prostate epithelium that acts as a context-dependent modulator of cell adhesion, innate immunity and apoptosis by binding cadherins and lectins, potentiating Wnt/Notch signaling to promote epithelial regeneration, and interacting with GRIM-19 to suppress mitochondrial apoptosis, while its frequent up-regulation in gastric, colorectal and other cancers fuels tumor growth, metastasis and chemoresistance and makes it a valuable serum biomarker.

Immunohistochemistry
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded mouse small intestine. Anti-Olfm4 antibody was used at 1/2000 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse & Rabbit IgG (ready to use). Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded mouse spleen.
Negative control: IHC shows negative staining in paraffin-embedded mouse colon. Anti-Olfm4 antibody was used at 1/2000 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse & Rabbit IgG (ready to use).
