3D cell culture, which refers to growing cells in a three-dimensional culture environment, is a popular method in cell culture in recent years. With the emergence of 3D culture, cell culture models are closer to the in vivo physiological environment and show a high consistency with animal models in terms of drug test results. This can reduce reliance on animal experiments and shorten the research and development cycle, making it bound to become the trend in cell culture. Organoids – 3D cell cluster structures similar to organs with certain morphological structures and functions, formed by culturing embryonic or adult stem cells in vitro to allow them to proliferate and differentiate. Although these cellular structures are not real human organs in the true sense, they can simulate real organs in structure and function, and therefore, they are playing an increasingly important role in scientific research.
