Sandwich TR-FRET immunoassay for semi-quantitative detection of Total ERK1/2 (both phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated ERK1/2) in cell lysates. This kit can be used to normalize data obtained with the Phospho-ERK1/2 (T202/Y204) kit and the Extreme Phospho-ERK1/2 (T202/Y204) kit. Full assay validation can be found in the Technical Data Sheet. Detailed assay protocols are described in the Generic User Manual.

Data show that treatment of HEK293 cells with EGF stimulates phosphorylation of ERK1/2 at T202/Y204, but does not affect the levels of total ERK1/2.
