Sandwich TR-FRET immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of human IL-1β (IL-1F2) in cell culture supernatants. The kit does not include a recombinant human IL-1β standard, which must be purchased separately from R&D Systems® (catalogue number 201-LB). Parallelism-THP-1 cells
Supernatants from THP-1 cells treated for two days with LPS and IL-2 were serially diluted with culture medium and assayed for IL-1β. Recovery values between 86-122% of the neat sample demonstrate assay parallelism.
