Background
RBM15B, also known as RNA binding motif protein 15B, is a member of the SPEN (Split-end) family of proteins and is involved in various cellular processes. It functions as an RNA-binding protein that plays a key role in regulating N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation of RNAs, which affects mRNA splicing and processing. RBM15B is also implicated in the regulation of alternative splicing and acts as a cofactor for the nuclear export receptor NXF1, influencing mRNA export from the nucleus. Additionally, it has been associated with diseases such as Tatton-Brown-Rahman Syndrome and Wilms Tumor 1, highlighting its importance in both normal and pathological cellular functions.

Immunohistochemistry
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human stomach. Anti-RBM15B antibody was used at 1/250 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse & Rabbit IgG (ready to use). Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human breast cancer.
