Background
NSUN2 (NOP2/Sun domain family member 2) is a crucial RNA methyltransferase enzyme responsible for catalyzing the 5-methylcytosine (m5C) modification on various RNA species, including tRNAs, mRNAs, and rRNAs. As a key epitranscriptomic regulator, it plays an essential role in post-transcriptional gene expression by influencing RNA stability, nuclear export, and translation efficiency. Furthermore, NSUN2 is deeply involved in fundamental biological processes such as cell proliferation, stem cell differentiation, and development, while its dysregulation is frequently associated with the initiation and progression of various cancers.

Immunohistochemistry
IHC shows positive staining in paraffin-embedded human testis. Anti-NSUN2 antibody was used at 1/500 dilution, followed by a HRP Polymer for Mouse IgG (ready to use). Counterstained with hematoxylin. Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA buffer pH9.0 was performed before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
