4% PFA fixed 90% methanol permeabilized GFP-transfected 293T (Human embryonic kidney epithelial cell) (right panel) or 293T (left panel) were stained with Alexa Fluor® 647 Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (black line histogram) and SDT GFP Recombinant Rabbit mAb (Alexa Fluor® 647 Conjugate) (red line histogram) at 1/1000 dilution (0.1 μg). Cells incubated without primary antibody and secondary antibody (blue line histogram) were used as unlabeled control. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.

Background
A myc tag is a polypeptide protein tag derived from the c-myc gene product that can be added to a protein using recombinant DNA technology. It can be used for affinity chromatography, then used to separate recombinant, overexpressed protein from wild type protein expressed by the host organism. It can also be used in the isolation of protein complexes with multiple subunits.
