Background
Mouse IgG2c is the functional equivalent and primary Th1-associated antibody isotype in C57BL/6 and related mouse strains, replacing the conventional IgG2a found in other strains like BALB/c. This expression is due to a natural allelic variation in the Igh-1 locus. Functionally, IgG2c mirrors IgG2a by exhibiting high affinity for activating Fc gamma receptors, making it exceptionally potent at eliciting effector mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis (ADCP), and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). Consequently, it is a critical mediator of protective immunity against intracellular pathogens and a key indicator of a robust Th1-type immune response in these specific mouse strains.

#2 sample is undiluted samples are as follows: CD-1 mouse serum was 200,000fold dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 77.99 ug/mL in CD-1 mouse serum.
