Background
Cynomolgus macaque (Macaca fascicularis) LGR5 is encoded by the LGR5 gene (Gene ID: 102120216) located on chromosome 11. The reference sequence is XM_005571542.4, encoding isoform X1 with protein accession XP_005571599.2. The cynomolgus LGR5 UniProt/TrEMBL accession is A0A2K5WIN4.
Cynomolgus LGR5 is highly homologous to human LGR5 in both structure and function. Recombinant cynomolgus LGR5 protein typically covers the extracellular domain spanning Ser22-Gly557 (corresponding to human LGR5 residues 22-543), with a C-terminal His tag. The protein is expressed in HEK293 cells and exhibits biological activity in binding human R-spondin 1.
