Background
TNFRSF6B is a soluble decoy receptor that lacks a transmembrane domain and cytoplasmic tail. It neutralizes three ligands—FasL, LIGHT, and TL1A—thereby inhibiting apoptosis, lymphocyte activation, and inflammation. Overexpression of TNFRSF6B is observed in various malignancies, including lung, colon, and pancreatic cancers, where it promotes immune evasion and tumor progression. It serves as a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis and prognosis, and is being investigated as a therapeutic target for autoimmune diseases and cancer immunotherapy.
