Background
CXCL10 is a small signaling protein classified as a chemokine. It is primarily produced by cells like macrophages and fibroblasts in response to interferon-gamma. Its main function is to act as a chemoattractant, guiding immune cells to sites of inflammation or infection. Specifically, CXCL10 binds to a receptor called CXCR3, which is found on the surface of activated T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. This interaction is crucial for mounting an effective immune response against viruses and intracellular pathogens. Consequently, CXCL10 plays a significant role in autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammation, and anti-tumor immunity. Its expression is often used as a biomarker for Th1-type immune responses. In summary, CXCL10 is a key mediator that recruits specific immune cells to coordinate the body's defense mechanisms.

Linearity
The concentrations of Human CXCL10 were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
Sample is undiluted samples are as follows: human PBMC cells stimulated with 10ug/ml PHA for 5days (1.67%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 14605.78 pg/mL in stimulated human PBMC supernatant.
Linearity
The concentrations of Human CXCL10 were measured and interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution.
Sample is undiluted samples are as follows: human PBMC cells culture for 5days (25%). The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted. The mean target concentration was determined to be 1276.23 pg/mL in unstimulated human PBMC supernatant.
To assess the linearity of the assay, sample was spiked with high concentrations of Human CXCL10 in various matrices and diluted with the appropriate Calibrator Diluent to produce samples with values within the dynamic range of the assay.
