Flow cytometric analysis of Mouse CD335 expression on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes. C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with Alexa Fluor® 647 Rat Anti-Mouse NK1.1 antibody and either FITC Rat IgG2a, κ Isotype Control (Left panel) or SDT FITC Rat Anti-Mouse CD335 Antibody (Right panel) at 0.25 μg/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.

Background
CD335, also known as NKp46, is a 46kDa natural cytotoxicity receptor that belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed on resting and activated NK cells, ILC1, a subset of NCR+ ILC3 in the mucosa, and a small subset of T lymphocytes. CD335 plays a crucial role in the lysis of autologous, allogeneic, or xenogeneic cells by NK cells and is highly conserved in mammals.
