Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD73 expression on human peripheral blood cells. Human peripheral blood cells were stained with Brilliant Violet 421™ Mouse Anti-Human CD3 Antibody and either Biotin Mouse IgG1, k Isotype Control (left panel) or SDT Biotin Mouse Anti-Human CD73 Antibody (right panel) at 5 μl/test followed by Sav-iFluor 488. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.

Background
CD73, also known as ecto-5'-nucleotidase (encoded by NT5E), is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell-surface enzyme that catalyzes the final step of extracellular ATP degradation, converting AMP to immunosuppressive adenosine, thereby orchestrating tumor immune evasion, promoting angiogenesis and metastasis, and shaping an anti-inflammatory microenvironment by dampening CD8⁺ T-cell cytotoxicity and enhancing Treg or myeloid suppressive functions across multiple solid cancers.
