Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD335 expression on Human PBMC. Human PBMC were stained with APC Mouse Anti-Human CD56 Antibody and either Biotin Mouse IgG1, κ Isotype Control (left panel) or SDT Biotin Mouse Anti-Human CD335 Antibody (right panel) at 1.25 μl/test followed by Sav-PE. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using Agilent NovoCyte Quanteon and FlowJo™ software.

Background
CD335, also known as NKp46 or NCR1, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein selectively expressed on both resting and activated natural killer (NK) cells that functions as a key cytotoxicity-activating receptor by recognizing pathogen-derived or tumor-associated ligands and subsequently coupling with the ITAM-bearing adaptors CD247 and FCER1G to trigger potent NK-cell degranulation and tumor cell lysis, thereby serving as a critical initiator of natural cytotoxicity within the innate immune response.
