Flow cytometric analysis of mouse CD252 expression on stimulated mouse splenocytes B cells. Mouse splenocytes B cells were stimulated (3 days) in culture with Purified Anti-Mouse CD40 antibody and Goat Anti-Mouse IgM. The cells were then stained with either Alexa Fluor® 647 Rat IgG2b, κ Isotype Control or SDT Alexa Fluor® 647 Rat Anti-Mouse CD252 Antibody at 1.25 μl/test Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.

Background
CD252, also known as OX40 ligand (OX40L), is a membrane-bound cytokine of the tumor necrosis factor superfamily expressed on activated antigen-presenting cells that engages its receptor OX40 (CD134) on T cells to deliver a potent costimulatory signal driving T-cell proliferation, survival and effector cytokine production while also participating in B-cell/T-cell cross-talk and being exploited as a therapeutic target in cancer immunotherapy and autoimmune disease modulation.
