Flow cytometric analysis of CD360 expression on human PBMC (human peripheral blood mononuclear cell). Human PBMC were stained with Brilliant Violet 421™ Mouse Anti-Human CD19 Antibody and either Alexa Fluor® 488 Mouse IgG1, k Isotype Control (left panel) or Alexa Fluor® 488 Mouse Anti-Human CD360 Antibody (right panel) at 5 μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.

Background
The CD360 protein, also known as the B-cell receptor CD360 or Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor B1 (LILRB1), is an inhibitory receptor primarily expressed on the surface of immune cells such as B cells, monocytes, dendritic cells, and NK cells. Belonging to the Leukocyte Immunoglobulin-Like Receptor (LILR) family, it recognizes ligands like MHC class I molecules (e.g., HLA-G) and transmits inhibitory signals, thereby negatively regulating immune responses. It plays a critical role in maintaining immune homeostasis, preventing excessive activation, and mediating immune escape. Dysregulation of its function is closely associated with autoimmune diseases, infections, and tumor immune evasion, making it a potential target for immunotherapy research.
