Background

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is a key immunoregulatory cytokine that plays a crucial role in modulating immune responses and maintaining immune homeostasis. In dogs, IL-10 is produced by various immune cells, including monocytes, macrophages, and T cells, and functions as an anti-inflammatory cytokine by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and suppressing immune cell activation. IL-10 is involved in regulating immune tolerance, controlling excessive inflammation, and promoting tissue repair in dogs. Studies on canine IL-10 have focused on its role in infectious diseases, autoimmune conditions, and cancer, highlighting its importance in canine health and disease.

Bioactivity

Measured in a cell proliferation assay using MC/9 mouse mast cells. The ED50 for this effect is 0.6‑0.9 ng/mL.

SDS-PAGE

2μg (R: reducing condition, N: non-reducing condition).

ELISA

Immobilized IL-10 Protein, Canine (Cat. No. UA040332) at 5.0μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind IL10RA/CD210 His Tag Protein, Human (Cat. No. UA010657) with EC50 of 13.83-14.08 ng/mL.
