Background

CD276, also known as B7-H3, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the B7 family of immune co-stimulatory molecules that is broadly overexpressed on the cell surface of many solid tumors while showing only limited distribution in normal tissues; it modulates both adaptive and innate immunity by interacting with putative receptors on T cells and NK cells to either inhibit or enhance anti-tumor responses, serves as a marker for cancer progression and poor prognosis, and is actively pursued as a therapeutic target through monoclonal antibodies, antibody–drug conjugates, CAR-T cells, and bispecific T-cell engagers.

Flow cytometric analysis of Human CD276 expression on Human monocyte-derived mature dendritic cells. Human monocyte-derived mature dendritic cells were stained with FITC Mouse Anti-Human CD11c Antibody and either Alexa Fluor® 647 Mouse IgG1, κ Isotype Control (Left panel) or Alexa Fluor® 647 Mouse Anti-Human CD276 Antibody (Right panel) at 5 μl/test. Flow cytometry and data analysis were performed using BD FACSymphony™ A1 and FlowJo™ software.
