Background
Kise Buffer can be used to assay protein kise activity.
Components
200 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.4, 100 mM MgCl2, and 0.5 mg/mL BSA. Add fresh DTT prior to use to a fil concentration of 250 μM.
Protocol
1. Thaw 5X buffer at 24-30°C, mixing end-over-end.
2. Dilute the 5X buffer to the desired concentration using ddH2O.
Guidelines
For optimal storage, aliquot buffer into smaller quantities after centrifugation and store at recommended temperature. For most favorable
performance, avoid repeated handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
