Excitation of the donor antibody then triggers FluorescenceResonance Energy Transfer (FRET) to the acceptor, resulting in the emission ofa specific signal at 665 nm. The intensity of this specific signal isproportional to the extent of the IL17A\/IL17RA interaction.
