The full-length human TREM2 protein consists of 230 amino acids, comprising an extracellular immunoglobulin-like domain, a short stalk region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic tail. Functionally, TREM2 regulates microglial survival, activation, phagocytosis, and inflammatory responses, playing a critical role in maintaining brain homeostasis. Its ectodomain undergoes proteolytic shedding by metalloproteases such as ADAM10 and ADAM17, releasing a soluble form (sTREM2) that can be detected in cerebrospinal fluid and blood. TREM2 is one of the strongest genetic risk factors for late-onset Alzheimer's disease, with loss-of-function variants such as R47H significantly increasing disease risk. The receptor engages multiple ligands, including apolipoprotein E, amyloid-β, and charged lipids, through distinct binding surfaces on its extracellular domain. Recombinant human TREM2 is widely used in research to study microglial biology, neuroinflammation, and Alzheimer's disease pathogenesis.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Starter","offers":[{"title":"1x96T","offer_id":67396287201355,"sku":"S0C3255-1x96T","price":500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"5x96T","offer_id":67396287234123,"sku":"S0C3255-5x96T","price":2500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"10x96T","offer_id":67396287266891,"sku":"S0C3255-10x96T","price":5000.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0590\/8375\/1499\/files\/3b695f90f05c433bbe65dc92c31eb221_d41f4713-8248-4dcb-9fac-842d59ba2369.jpg?v=1793858652","url":"https:\/\/www.antbioinc.com\/products\/human-trem2-onestep-elisa-kit-s0c3255","provider":"AntBio","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
