Clinical data show that dupilumab has a relatively rapid onset of action, significantly improving pruritus and skin lesions; most patients with atopic dermatitis experience symptom relief within days to weeks of treatment, and long-term treatment can achieve essentially clear skin in a substantial proportion of patients. Its overall safety profile is favorable, with the most common adverse reactions being injection-site reactions and conjunctivitis; a small number of patients may experience keratitis, arthralgia, or transient peripheral blood eosinophilia, but the incidence of serious adverse events is low.
